Con el espíritu de convocar a todos los actores involucrados en la producción de semilla forrajera a nivel mundial, las reuniones del Grupo Internacional de Semilla Forrajeras y Céspedes se ha trasladado, en los últimos años, a países en desarrollo. Durante la próxima reunión que llevaremos a cabo en Pergamino en 2107, nuestro deseo es acercar el conocimiento generado en centros de excelencia a productores, técnicos e industriales de Sudamérica con el objetivo de lograr mejoras sustantivas en la actividad semillera. Nuestras principales metas son hacer disponibles los últimos avances en producción de semilla a la vez que abrir las puertas sobre las oportunidades para el desarrollo en zonas menos explotadas.
Esperamos que esta reunión sea provechosa para todos los concurrentes, tanto los que nos visitarán desde otros confines como para nuestros vecinos latinoamericanos y por supuesto para los productores, la industria y la comunidad científica local.
